We bought these for the first time on the recommendation
of a friend of David’s. Let’s just say –
everyone has their own taste, and these candies were not ours… We were excited to try them (after all – they
were RECOMMENDED!) but they did not live up to our expectations.

And that brings us to an amazingly awesome thing about
Trader Joe’s – if you do not like something, they take it back. They want to know!! They like to hear your feedback!! So after buying these, bringing them home,
and trying a couple, we returned them to the store on our next visit. And they were HAPPY to take them back and
give us a refund or exchange. They are
so sweet about it.
Here is what we thought – the chocolate candies were just
too THICK and hard. They were difficult
to bite. They were not simple little
niblets, like other non-pareils are. They
were thick, chunky bits of chocolate. Eating
them just wasn’t enjoyable, so back they went.
They weren’t cheap ($4.49), but trust me, we just exchanged them for
other chocolates that were more to our liking J.
